Since the elements are grouped in the periodic table in a way that shows periodic trends in their chemical properties, it is frequently used in the discipline of chemistry to look up chemical elements. However, the Periodic table often just shows the element's symbol, not its whole name.
The majority of the symbols are
based on the element's name, while others have Latin roots. Silver is a good
example of this, and the symbol Ag comes from the Latin word "Argentum."
Another illustration of this is the sign "Fe," which is used to
represent iron and is derived from the Latin word "Ferrum," which
means "iron."
Because these symbols do not often
equate to the English names of the elements, it could be challenging for a
beginner in chemistry to remember the names of all the elements in the periodic
